Christmas party for special children at the Adelaide Zoo 2013

We were lucky enough to be given a ticket for Angus this year (thanks Disability SA) and wow! what a fantastic day we had. The children arrive at the zoo and are given a little band which goes around their wrist showing icons – icecream, drink, sausage, gift bag, present. These show the children visually what they will receive – it’s just a great idea and so well organised. I’m so grateful to the Salvation Army, and all the sponsors and volunteers who contribute to this wonderful day. Here are some images from the day:
